May 24, 2008 First Prayer Day for Tibet BreadCom Center The 1st Prayer Day for Tibet was hosted by the Bread from Heaven Community Church and Bread & Beyond Mission Ministry and supported by Rev. Ben Gomez last May 24, 2008. The gathering was blessed by the praise and worship led by the Gising Kabataan Team, Pastor Bal Febrer’s presence, with his new baby girl and their 2 Brazilian Young Lady guests, was very encouraging. Sonny Largado shared a brief history and why we need to pray for the Tibetans. A Tibet powerpoint presentation was presented by ate Joy, then it was followed by Pastor Louie Valencia's School of Workers (SOW) overview that the Ethnos Asia Ministry is using with great response in Asia. The Intercessors for the Philippines Quezon City Coordinator facilitated the prayer time in small groups. The group came up with some suggested steps to take for the participants' continuous involvement in the Tibetan Harvest even after Dr. David Lim facilitated: Be equipped as SOW trainer for the Tibetans. Adopt the Tibetans in their own churches Send their young people for vision trips For their own churches to continue to be a House of Prayer for the Tibetans and sign up to be part of the 10,000 intercessors globally for the Tibetans. Set mission budget for the pastors to be able to go the field. Help raise fund for those called to go to the field. Pray for Filipino businessmen to set up business in mission, like travel agencies or job recruitment. Be prepared in friendship evangelism, and minister to the Tibetan Diasporas. The group responded with an offering of about Php7,900 & $100 to the powerpoint presentation showing the devastation of 7.9 magnitude earthquake in China in May 12, 2008. P.
