WE ARE SPECIAL IN THE SIGHT OF GOD BECAUSE OF JESUS
1 Corinthians 1:26-31
In 1 Corinthians 1:27 , 27 and 28, the phrase “God has chosen us” was written The verb “ekregomai” which means to choose, pick, select appears 41 times in the Bible.
In Deuteronomy 7:6, it says “ the Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.”
God has chose us despite of us because He loved us. 1 Corinthians 1:26 says, “Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you called into this life. I don’t see many of the brightest and the best among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families.” But God chooses us as His people despite everything.
God chose us despite of us because He has a purpose. 1 Corinthians 1”27 says that “ God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they re wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.
God chose us despite of us because of his glory. The Bible exhorts us to “ boast in the Lord.” As we boast in Him, we also return all the praise unto Him.
God has chosen u despite of us because of His love for us. We are secured in God’s love.
God has chosen us despite of us because of His purpose for s. Each of us are significant in His eyes.
God has chosen us despite of us because of His glory.
How wonderful it is to remember that we, God’s people, are accepted, loved and chosen by the Almighty God.
